For millennia humans have sought the meaning of spirit and some believe it started when apes stumbled across and ingested magic mushrooms to expand our consciousness into what it is today. This is called the stoned ape theory proposed by Terence McKenna.

When clients engage me to help them work through their relationship challenges one of the common themes I hear is that of loneliness. People describe living like roommates. Managing the affairs of the household pretty well but not managing the affairs of the heart. They say things like: “whatever I do it never seems to be enough”

How do you know if and when your spirit is out of alignment? Just listen to your body. Our physical and emotional bodies send signals when the spirit is out of alignment. Our bodies speak to us through signs and symptoms of dysfunction, disease and state of being. That is how you know when the spirit is out of alignment.
